The AIDS Committee of Durham Region's 2012 Durham Regional HIV/AIDS Conference, will be held on March 15th and March 16th at the Durham Best Western Hotel & Conference Centre (559 Bloor Street West in Oshawa - near the Oshawa GO Train Station).  The conference will address issues surrounding the health and wellness of people living with, affected by and at risk of HIV in the Durham Region.

On Thursday, March 15, 2012, we will be hosting an Opening Dinner from 6 to 10 p.m., with proceeds going to support the agency. Prominent HIV activist David Hoe will give the keynote address and Actor Ryan Carnes will host as Master of Ceremonies.  See poster for details CLICK HERE.

On Friday, March 16th, conference participants will meet our Education/Outreach Coordinators and hear them share about the unique challenges faced by such at-risk communities. This conference will be of interest to social service providers, health care professionals, students and community members. Durham Region's commitment to knowledge exchange and current advancements will be supported with informative presentations on emerging trends.
